Do we have to select a hotel from the World Series lodging list in order to receive the team per diem?

Yes, in order to qualify for the team per diem, lodging must be booked through the World Series hotel links provided on the Fact Sheet. Please note that international and domestic teams may have different lodging options available. Booking through the correct link ensures eligibility for the per diem.

Can we select other lodging not on the approved World Series lodging list through Hotel Planner and still receive team per diem?

Unfortunately, no. To qualify for the team per diem, lodging must be booked through the World Series lodging links provided on the Fact Sheet and with one of the approved hotel partners listed. If a team chooses accommodations that are not on the World Series approved Hotel Planner list, that team will forfeit their per diem.

Will my team receive team per diem on the day of the Coaches meeting and Opening Ceremonies?

Yes, your team will earn per diem on the day your staff attends the Coaches Meeting and Opening Ceremonies, as well as every day your team is involved in competition, provided that the lodging requirements are met.
